Roberts Elementary After School Care (2020-2021)

After a successful launch of our in-person Learning Pods, we are now ready to resume our traditional after school tutoring. Our after school program includes transportation, tutoring, snacks, and other enrichment.

Roberts Elementary students are picked up then transported to our Rice location at 1601 Sunset Blvd. Once there, tutors meet with students to go over any homework that was assigned that day. By reteaching, pre-teaching and filling in learning gaps, we make sure homework is done correctly and on time.

Our after school program is open until 6:30 PM but parents can pick up anytime before that.

Over the last few weeks we’ve also learned a lot about how to tutor safely in-person and will continue to enforce the same procedures:

• Checking temperatures before entering the building

• Washing hands frequently and disinfecting all surfaces

• Requiring masks for all students and all of our staff
